On the West Coast, containerised scrap prices in Taiwan continued increasing last week, reaching aone-year high. Although Taiwanese buyers are aiming to buy at amaximum of 275/tonne cfr, US West Coast suppliers are heard to have targeted at above $280/t cfr.
