当地时间8月19日，阿富汗塔利班发言人扎比胡拉·穆贾希德在社交网站发表声明，在阿富汗脱离英国统治、独立102周年纪念日之际，塔利班宣布成立“阿富汗伊斯兰酋长国”（Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan）。

The Taliban on Thursday announced the creation of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, four days after ousting the previous government in their 10-day lightning sweep.

Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid, in a tweet, announced the group had decided to establish the Islamic Emirate on the occasion of Afghanistan's 102nd anniversary of independence from British rule.
