Minhang Cultural Park in Qibao Town is a park featuring magnolia. Its functional positioning is “focusing on ecological environment and regarding culture as the soul”. This park focuses on creating a landscaping brand of Magnolia denudata and aims to become a park featuring the widest planting area and the most varieties of magnolia in Shanghai.

There are 1,500 magnolia trees in the park, covering an area of over 20,000 square meters. Magnolia denudate

Magnolia denudata is the city flower of Shanghai. Also named magnolia or lily magnolia, it is a white variety in the magnolia family. Magnolia denudata is a deciduous tree of magnoliaceae, and the height of tree could reach 25 meters. When you see a magnolia denudata tree from far distance, the tree is full of dense, charming pure white flowers.

Magnolia liliiflora

Magnolia liliiflora is a deciduous shrub of magnoliaceae. The tree is 3 to 5 meters high, and the flower, purple or purple violet in color, grows at the top of the branch. In spring, the flower blooms first, the leaf appears on the branch later, or the flower and leaf appears on the branch at the same time.

Magnolia soulangeana Soul
