A postdoctoral position is available in National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK), NIH, located in Bethesda, Maryland. We are seeking a postdoctoral fellow to study epigenomic regulation of gene expression. We use a combination of tools, including epigenomics (ChIP-Seq, RNA-Seq, ATAC-Seq, targeted Hi-C), bioinformatics, CRISPR genome editing and mouse genetics, to study how enhancer chromatin modification and enhancer-promoter interaction regulate cell-type-specific gene expression during brown fat cell differentiation and function. Requirements:
Candidates should have a Ph.D. degree in biological sciences with less than 5 years postdoctoral experience. A strong background in molecular biology, cell biology, biochemistry or bioinformatics is desired. Stipend starts at $48,450 and will be commensurate with experience.
