Introduction
The 3rd Camphor Economist Circle (CEC) English Workshop will be held in Dali Yunnan Province (云南省大理市) on 16th December, 2017, hosted by West Yunnan University of Applied Sciences and West Yunnan Institute for Financial Research in association with the Collaborative Innovation Center of Industrial Upgrading and Regional Finance (Hubei).
The 3rd CEC English Workshop welcomes submissions in broad fields of economics and finance with no particular preference over theoretical and empirical studies. The workshop prefers but is not limited to topics on environmental economics and recent development in Chinese financial markets. Early-career scholars and postgraduates (Master and PhD candidates) are especially encouraged to submit papers. The priority will be given to full-length papers written in English, but long abstracts (1-2 pages) are also acceptable.
Paper Submission
For those who are interested in presenting a paper in the workshop, please send your full paper or long abstract in PDF version to [email protected] by November 5th, 2017. Please name your email title as “Your Name_Title of Your Paper”. Authors will be notified of decisions by November 17th, 2017.
Conference Fees
There is no registration fee.
Generous grants will be provided to young scholars and postgraduates who present papers. The grants will only cover accommodation expenses but not travel expenses.
Registration
We recommend all participants register at West Yunnan University of Applied Sciences prior to 5:30pm December 15th (Friday) and formally attend the workshop on December 16th (Saturday) and follow-up academic activities on December 17th (Sunday). Detailed schedules will be announced by the end of November.
