On January 9, Chinese new energy vehicle maker NETA Auto made its debut at the Singapore Motorshow 2025. The company also announced that the NETA X and the NETA AYA models hit the local market, with 52-unit orders secured on the same day.

NETA Auto said that both the NETA X and the NETA AYA models have completed the local certification for Singapore's new energy vehicle (NEV) standards, with new stores set to open shortly.
In recent years, NETA Auto has been expanding its overseas market. In December 2024, NETA Auto Indonesian renewed its partnership with PT Bank Central Asia Tbk in Jakarta. The bank plans to continue providing financing services to support the automaker's growth in Indonesia.
In addition, at the Thailand International Motor Expo 2024 in November 2024, NETA Auto offered the overseas debut of the all-new NETA S Shooting Brake, a model featuring Super EREV (extended-range electric vehicle) technology. Moreover, the company opened its first flagship store in Malaysia in last October, with the first 50 vehicles delivered to local customers. Furthermore, NETA Auto has established over 30 sales outlets in Brazil, covering key sales regions across first-, second-, and third-tier cities.
In September 2024, NETA Auto celebrated the market launch of the NETA X in Jakarta, Indonesia, and announced the delivery to the first 500 customers who had placed their orders. The NETA X, designed for youthful families in Indonesia, follows the brand's concept of "experiencing the electric technology journey." It can be charged from 30% to 80% of its battery capacity in 30 minutes, with a range of up to 480 kilometers. To better serve the local market, the automaker equips the NETA X with the CCS2 (Combined Charging System 2) charging interface, one of the most common facilities at Indonesian charging stations.
Over the next two years, NETA Auto plans to expand its global sales network to 50 countries and regions, and establish 500 overseas sales and service outlets.
