终于在时隔半年后的今天亲娘大老远的飞来看我。在一个月前制定好了的北岛自驾路线，考虑了冬天南岛的天气条件和假期只有一周的时间，决定从奥克兰
直飞惠灵顿
然后自驾回奥克兰。

WELLINGTON
惠灵顿
被大部分人所误会的首都奥克兰事实上只是新西兰最大代表城市，惠灵顿才是
真正的国家政治中心

但是个人兴趣不在此，由于新西兰历史并不悠久，逛来逛去博物馆都是讲一些一样的点。不过家庭旅游可以带孩子涨涨知识，有一些海洋地理知识还是非常详细的。

新西兰城市里的山都没有像中国高耸入云，顶多算个山丘。二十分钟可以爬到一个观景台，已经几乎可以
观望惠灵顿全景
，如果想爬完全程几乎一个多小时。指环王取景就是在丛林当中。
Cuba Street
古巴街
非常有名的步行街，难得在新西兰看到如此多的人。由于景点不多，在此不详细介绍。
休闲步行街，有很多二手唱片和书籍、怀旧服装和另类家具。平时古巴街十分热闹，街道两边有很多行为艺术表演者，不定期会举行爱心义卖，非常富有生活气息。
印象最深刻的是这个喷泉。
水流由于重力使小铲子向下倒，一个一个从顶端顺流而下。虽然只是一条步行街的装饰，但是
这种新颖有趣的设计使人眼前一亮。
惠灵顿总归来说是个政治中心而非实实在在的旅游城市。当然，网上还有很多植物园，教堂攻略，但是个人认为没有必要花过多的时间在这些景点，毕竟并不是非常出名，而且大同小异。

WHAKAPAPA
雪山
南半球的新西兰与中国反季节。选择这个时节躲避酷暑也不要错过
难得的滑雪季
。
新西兰北岛比较著名的滑雪场，在汤加里罗国家公园（Tongariro National Park）旁边。分为两个主滑雪区域（不同山，但是在附近），Whakapapa 和 Turoa。但是当地人推荐Whakapapa，观景更好，而且照顾初学者分为不同级别区域。也有滑雪爱好者跟我说Turoa滑雪场很大，更舒服。取决于个人。
