1、缺席的，不在的

释义：

not at work,school,a meeting,because you are sick or decide not to go.

举例：

Students who are regularly absent from school.

经常缺课的学生。

(1)在日常英语中，如果某人在休假或出差，人们一般会说he/she is away.

In everyday English,if someone is on holiday or business trip,people usually say he/she is away.

举例：

He’s away at the moment.He’s gone to Hawaii.

他现在不在，他到夏威夷去了。

（2） 如果想表示某人不在某处，要说not there .

If you want to say that someone is not in a particular place,say not there.

举例：

I called in to see her,but she wasn’t  there.

我去找她，但她不在。

（3） 如果想表示某人和你不在一起，要说not here.

If you want to say that someone is not with you,say not here.

举例：

I’m afraid he’s not here at the moment.Can I take a message?

对不起，他这会儿不在。要我记下留言吗？

2、缺乏的，不在场的

释义：

If someone or something is absent,they are missing or not in the place where they are expected to be.  Absent parent/father

举例：

Plans to force absent father to pay child maintenance.

强迫不和小孩生活在一起的父亲支付抚养费的计划。

3、心不在蔫的

释义：A look that is absent shows you are not paying attention to or thinking about what is happening.

举例：

The dull,absent look on her face implied boredom.

她脸上呆滞、茫然的神情说明她觉得无聊了。

另外，absent 也可以用作动词，缺席，不参加。需要注意的是发音改变
