个人简介


土门拳,Domon,Ken,(1909-1990),日本摄影家.出生于山形县的海滨城市酒田,自8岁起迁居东京,长大成人。早年他曾想成为画家,曾在东京大学就读较短时间,1932年,因参加激进政治活动被开除。1933至1935年,他在东京美术学校作为宫内幸太郎的见习生。1935至1945年,他成为东京仁本公房照相馆摄影师,不久,他成为自由摄影工作者。他出版了7本摄影画册。他的作品散见于全世界各大杂志上。



社会评价


土门拳是30年代中期以来日本最有影响的纪实摄影家.他的作品一反日本画意派摄影的传统风格,帮助创建了新现实主义摄影。土门被誉为日本古代建筑和雕刻的系统性纪实摄影大师,他拍摄了大量古代寺庙的系列照片。他为日本儿童和广岛爆炸的牺牲者作了具有深远意义的摄影报道。



荣誉及成就


土门拳于1950年创建修丹摄影组(Shudan photo Group)他负责组展西方摄影家,包括玛格利特·伯克-怀特、亨利·卡蒂埃-布勒松、比尔·布兰特、欧文·佩恩和W·尤金·史密斯的作品, 他于1959年任日本摄影家学会副主席。


土门拳曾多次获奖,包括1942年摄影文化奖,1958年日本摄影评定协会年奖,1958年《每日新闻》摄影奖,1959年文部省长艺术奖、1960年日本摄影学会奖、1960年日本记者委员会奖、1961年《每日新闻》艺术奖、1960年国际新闻摄影展览大奖、海牙(1960年)和作家菊池宽(Kan Kikuchi)1971年奖。


土门拳的作品曾被分类展出,包括《日本新拍摄影家》、1974年展出于纽约现代艺术博物馆;《日本摄影的今天及其起源》、1979年于欧洲巡回展出。在东京举办的他的个人作品展览有1955年和1960年两次儿童影响作品展,1968年的“广岛牺牲者”和1972年的“古代庙宇”和1973年“文乐(Bunraku)木偶剧场”等。
