Dr. Lu’s laboratory was recently moved to Indiana University School of Medicine from MD Anderson Cancer Center. This position will focus on the identification of drug targets in cancer targeted therapy and immunotherapy using in silico and bench approaches. S/He will have opportunities to collaborate with physicians and bioengineering scientists. The ideal candidate MUST have significant hands-on experience in molecular biology, cell biology and mouse models (xenograft, GEMM models, etc.). Experience in cancer biology is preferred, but not required. Previous publication(s) as first author is required for consideration. Salary is commensurate with experience and NIH guidelines. The laboratory has a strong track of record for postdoctoral career development. In the past three years, four postdocs were offered tenure-track or research-track faculty positions in the United States and two postdocs were awarded by the prestigious NIH K99/R00 awards.
