On Saturday October 21st, over 80 individuals participated in the RE:FORM Sorting Party at Crown Relocations Shanghai Warehouse in Putuo. Participants included volunteers, students, and working professionals from various corporations. Over 40 cmb (approx. 4,000 kg) of clothing were sorted through, of which about 32 cmb (approx. 3,000 kg) were donated to an HIV Center in Yunnan and 6cbm (apprx. 500 kg) of clothing, kitchenware, electronics were sent for recycling. The remaining clothing went to various project partners for up-cycling, resell, or donated to other charities. This effort would not have been possible without the support of Crown Relocations, River of Hearts and all of Green Initiatives’ supporters and project sponsors, including PwC China, YK Pao School, Dulwich College Suzhou, Bonobo Jeans, Haworth Asian Pacific, Citibank China, Shane English School China, and ZUCZUG.

Approximately 3,000 kg were donated to an HIV Center in Yunnan, 500 kg of clothing, kitchenware, electronics were sent for recycling and the remaining 500 kg went to various project partners for up-cycling, resell, or donated to other charities.
