复旦大学博士生
Pengfei Liu, a full-time Bachel-Phd Candidate (3rd year) in School of Computer Science at Fudan University, advised by Prof. Xipeng Qiu and Prof. Xuanjing Huang. So far, His research work has concentrated on representation learning for natural language processing and multi-task learning. He has published several related papers as the first author in ACL, EMNLP and IJCAI, and got Baidu Scholarship in 2016, IBM PhD Fellowship in 2017.

Learning representations with neural network models has shown great effectiveness in many natural lanaguage processing (NLP) tasks, in which texts are encoded as continuous vectors. In this report, I will cover the selected research topics on neural network-based models which aim to learn representations for text spans of different granularities, e.g., words, phrases, sentences and sentence pairs.
