Spring signifies a new beginning. With the approaching of the Chinese Spring Festival, we would like to extend our sincere greetings and best wishes to all cadres, employees, family members and retirees, and express our lofty respect and heartfelt thanks to all the staff staying on posts both at home and abroad during this festive season!
In 2024, there were opportunities and challenges for us who gained plenty for our hard efforts. We continued to advance high-quality corporate development with unrelenting perseverance and enterprising vibrancy. First, in positive response to grim and complex external challenges, we consolidated profitable businesses and accelerated the shift of growth drivers, laying more groundwork for high-quality development. Second, we took active part in the tasks of national R&D programs and developed an array of crucial technologies to overcome foreign technological monopoly, empowering innovation-oriented development. Third, with a commitment to strengthening our presence in basic building materials and strategic emerging industries, we picked up the pace of digital and intelligent transformation and the establishment of overseas businesses and steadily advanced green transformation, thereby sharpening our competitive advantages. Fourth, we became steadfast reformers that deepened SOE reform and fostered a more enterprising environment. In addition to these, we enhanced Party building through ideological education, the unification of striving pioneers, and the promotion of inspection and corrective actions with rigorous and practical efforts.
In 2024, we underwent ups and downs throughout the four seasons. With one heart and one mind, we shared weal and woe and made remarkable achievements through innovation and practical efforts. Our employees were distributed across laboratories, factory workshops, markets, and overseas countries. Their contributions boosted corporate growth and illuminated our future. On our journey towards high-quality development, every employee is a star, and every contribution from them was valuable. Hard work never fails, and we have created history and will create our future through hard efforts. Our thanks go to every enterprising employee.
