主讲人简介：

Dr. Xuekui Zhang is an associate professor at the University of Victoria, holding the titles of Canada Research Chair (Tier II) and Michael Smith Health Research BC Scholar. Dr. Zhang obtained a PhD degree in statistics from the University of British Columbia and a BSc degree in mathematics from Nankai University. Dr. Zhang focuses on developing and applying novel statistical methods and software tools to unravel the intricacies of big data in a wide array of domains, including medical research, agricultural sciences, economics, and the study of environmental ecosystems.
