Responsibilities


  • Under the guidance of the project manager, design the outline of the interview, conduct interviews, summarize the main points, conduct benchmarking survey, discuss the project ideas and solutions

  • Draft and discuss client reports under the guidance from project manager.  Work closely with client to understand client’s expectation and feedback for further improvement and final presentation.

  • Provide guidance to project team analysts and ensure timely delivery of work and achievement of project objectives.

  • Develop clients, draft project proposal, and participate in the bidding meeting.



Requirements


  • Relevant HR Consulting experience of 3+ years

Career Service - (Senior) Consulting Manager/Director

Location: Shanghai / Beijing



Responsibilities


  • Develop overall project plan, coach project members on designing of interview outline, survey questionnaire. Lead client interview and summarize the key points to carry out solutions.

  • Familiar with methodology and tools, provide necessary training to client such as job description, IPE, performance management and competence modeling etc.

  • Represent Mercer in public conferences, workshops and seminars to promote existing offerings

  • Draft and discuss client reports under the guidance from project manager. Work closely with client to understand client’s expectation and feedback for further improvement and final presentation.

  • Nurture key client relationships, identify opportunities to broaden or deepen these relationships, anticipate and respond to future client needs

Requirements


  • Bachelor or Master Degree preferably in finance, economics, statistics, mathematics, human resources (HR), accounting and/or other related coursework, or equivalent work experience preferred

Career Service - Associate Consultant/ Consulting Manager - Executive Remuneration

Location: Shanghai /Beijing



Responsibilities


  • Project Management: Serve as an independent project manager for small sized projects. Immediately address out-of-scope issues or budget overruns and feedback to project manager. Prioritize project activities to manage the workload and meet project deadlines. Write engagement letters including project steps for senior consultants’ review.

  • Project Delivery: Write and structure client presentations/reports. Review Excel exhibits in PowerPoint presentations and initial conclusions prepared by analysts. Draw conclusions from the data for project managers’ and senior consultants’ review. Work closely with project managers and senior consultants on the project to determine the exhibits to be included in the final client presentations.  Client presentations typically involve a high level of customization.

  • Client Contact: Serve as a day-to-day client contact for project areas including data requests and data management. Act as a liaison between the Mercer project team and the client secondary contact (i.e., compensation analyst). Responsible for scheduling meetings with clients, participate in meetings with clients, including fact-finding interviews and presentations.



Requirements


  • BA/BS degree required, MBA preferred.

  • For Associate Consultant, 2-3years of relevant work experience in management consulting, compensation, finance, human resources or accounting preferred; project management experience; experience in data analysis, financial modeling and presentation design

  • For Consulting Manager, Minimum of seven years' experience working with leading public and private companies in a variety of industries consulting on compensation strategy development, competitive pay evaluation, pay/performance links, incentive program design (annual and long-term), equity strategy, board compensation and other issues

  • Excellent project management, organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail

Responsibilities



  • Owner of assigned industry/location survey projects

  • Achieve client satisfaction by ensuring high quality survey project delivery. Provide support to key clients. This requires the incumbent to have strong knowledge in the assigned industry/location.

  • Conduct client presentations and complex training sessions (e.g. on compensation planning and budgeting).

  • Project deliverables e.g. job matching, IPE etc.

  • Mentor/provide coaching to less experienced consultants

  • With guidance from more experienced consultants and/or Industry/Location Leaders, develop business plan for the assigned industry/location. Establish connections with the clients’ C&B Senior Managers/Directors. Build and maintain strong client relationships in the assigned client portfolio (locations/industries) to achieve business targets.

Requirements


  • Bachelor degree in a relevant discipline.  Master’s degree preferable.

  • 5-7 years’ HR consulting or corporate HR experience at an appropriate level within a consulting/professional services environment

  • Sound client focus underpinned by strong C&B professional knowledge

Responsibilities

  • Project management including setting timelines, working with the consultant and technology staff to set up the project.  Ensure deliverables are met on time and on budget.  This includes organizational hierarchy coding, user assignment, survey programming and administration

  • Review, check and perform quality control processes to guarantee the results and project deliverables meet client specifications. Accountable for meeting deadlines and the quality of deliverables.

  • Documents project specifics, provide updates to supervisor and educates peers on processes. Share and coordinate with other project managers and team learnings and best practice.

Marketing - Digital Marketing Manager

Location: Shanghai


Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver the website strategy to drive demand generation. Manage digital projects strategically to drive leads. Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in online content and campaign management. Monitor competitor websites to ensure Mercer continues to outperform the competition.

  • Develop a coherent social media strategy to drive branding and demand generation. Work with Mercer LOB stakeholders to maintain a coordinated social media plan. Manage social media projects and develop initiatives strategically to drive engagement and leads

  • Digital Content Creation. Work with Mercer’s LOB Marketing Managers as well as the PR/Media Manager to create digital content that will support them in achieving campaign targets for engagement and qualified leads.

  • Monitoring and improving. Monitor the performance of the websites and wechat as a marketing and sales channel - using the tools available, including Marketo, and Adobe Analytics.


Requirements

  • At least 5-8 years’ experience in a similar role, working within Adobe AEM or similar CMS/WCM systems

  • Experience running marketing campaigns across the web and integrating with marketing automation systems.

  • Experience in SEO and SEM strategies and implementation, as well as measurement and reporting of KPIs and other insights.

  • Experience in social media strategies and implementation

  • Knowledge and experience in creating engaging web content, storyboarding, web user interface design, and responsive design for mobile devices.

  • Sound understanding of online channels including social media, online video, Google Analytics & Adwords.

  • You must have experience leading the creative development of user interface specifications, applications, site architecture and prototypes for systems and websites.
