With the coronavirus spreading inTurkey and the future uncertain, Turkish domestic rebar demand has also come toa halt and prices have further decreased. Local rebar prices which stood at TRY3,080-3,300/t last week, have further decreased to TRY 2,940-3,000/t ex-works,including VAT. With the lira at 6.43 per dollar on Thursday, these pricestranslate to $387-395/t ex-works, excluding VAT, down from $400-427/t a weekago.
