We are seeking an individual who:
• Has strong academic credentials in crop physiology and climate change, with an established network of research contacts.
• Can effectively communicate with the Publisher, Editor-in-Chief, and Editorial Board, and advocate for JAC among reviewers, authors, and the scientific community.
• Is aware of trends in the subject and publishing sector and open to new ideas and initiatives.
• Is committed to supporting diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility for the journals.
In consultation with the Publisher and Editor-in-Chief:
•
Support journal development, manuscript handling, and the peer review process in collaboration with the Editorial Board and Editorial Office.
•
Strengthen the journal’s connections within Wiley’s transfer network in agriculture for the benefit of authors and reviewers.
•
Maintain high-quality editorial policy and standards, ensuring research integrity.
•
Expand JAC’s Special Issues by collaborating with the Editorial team, guest editors, and Editorial Office.
•
Increase commissioning of additional reviews and content with the Features team, and encourage high-quality submissions.
•
Monitor key performance measures with support from Wiley.
