Internet of Vehicles (IOV) as an important part of the wisdom city is a complex integrated network system, which connects different people within automotives, different automotives and different environment entries in cities. IOV is different from Telematics, Vehicle Ad hoc Networks, and Intelligent Transportation, in which vehicles like phones can run within the whole network, and obtain various services by swarm intelligent computing with people, vehicles, and environments.
IOV 2017 is to establish an international forum for engineers and scientists to present their excellent ideas, latest innovations and experiences on Internet of Vehicles. We welcomes paper submissions on innovative work from researchers in academia, industry and government describing original research work, sharing the experience and insights, forecast the trends and opportunities, and discuss the policy, economics and social implications.

IOV 2017 will be held on Nov. 22-25, 2017 in Kanazawa, Japan.

Research in multimedia computing is generally concerned with presentation, integration and computation of one or more media, such as text, image, graphics, audio, video, social data, and data collected from various sensors, etc., using computing techniques. The 19th IEEE International Symposium on Multimedia (ISM2017) is the flagship conference of IEEE Technical Committee on Multimedia (TCMC) and an international forum for researchers to exchange information regarding advances in the state of the art and practice of multimedia computing, as well as to identify the emerging research topics and define the future of multimedia computing.

The technical program of ISM2017 will consist of invited talks, paper presentations, and panel discussions. Submissions are solicited for full papers and workshop papers.

The IEEE ISPA 2017 (15th IEEE International Symposium on Parallel and Distributed Processing with Applications) is a forum for presenting leading work on parallel and distributed computing and networking, including architecture, compilers, runtime systems, applications, reliability, security, parallel programming models and much more. During the symposium, scientists and engineers in both academia and industry are invited to present their work on concurrent and parallel systems (multicore, multithreaded, heterogeneous, clustered systems, distributed systems, grids, clouds, and large scale machines).

The 15th IEEE ISPA follows the tradition of previous successful IEEE ISPA conferences in the years from 2003 to 2016 in Asia, Europe, Australia and North America. It will feature sessions of regular presentations, workshops, tutorials and keynote speeches. IEEE ISPA 2017 is sponsored by the IEEE Technical Committee on Scalable Computing (TCSC) and the IEEE Computer Society. IEEE ISPA 2017 is particularly interested in research addressing heterogeneous computing with the use of accelerators, mobile computing, approximate computing, tools and methodologies to improve the quality of parallel programming and applying generic computing approaches to networks, in particular Software Defined networking and its applications.

In recent years, we have seen exciting new research and development on cyber-physical systems and Internet of Things. The computer and networking technologies are transforming many aspects of our industry, government, healthcare, and our society. You may have found so many things that are used to operate standalone are now connected, and they are becoming smarter thanks to computer algorithms enabled by machine learning and artificial intelligence. Computer systems are no longer just performing computations. They now take input from various sensors, make autonomous decisions, and issue commands to actuators that could exert physical changes to equipment and environment. A good example is self-driving cars and trucks. Together, computer science and intelligent control are making our life so much more convenient and enjoyable.

This symposium welcomes new research in the areas of cyber-physical systems and Internet of Things where computer science and intelligent control play important roles. We also welcome research and development in traditional computer science fields, such as distributed systems, computer vision, image and signal processing, machine learning and artificial intelligence. We hope this symposium offers a valuable venue for participants to share their discoveries, insight, and lessons learned, take home with exciting new ideas to further advance the state of the art and state of the practice in these areas, make new friends and forge fruitful collaborations.

Authors of selected papers presented in ISCSIC 2017 will be invited to extended their papers for publication in a special issue of Computers (http://www.mdpi.com/journal/computers/special_issues/ISCSIC_2017 ). This is an open access journal published by MDPI. The journal has already been included in the Emerging Sources Citation Index by Web of Science.
