设计家 | 林中玻璃屋 Glass splendors in forests

“我们希望这个建筑能在自然里面生长出来，北方的一年四季它的季节变化很大，我们坐在建筑里面，就能感受到外部的环境变化，还有四季的变迁。这个建筑基本上是按照树的结构来做的。其实树是这个建筑的灵魂。”

“We designate this constructure as something that originates from the nature. In the Northern China, the four seasons vary greatly. 

As a result, although we’re sitting in the constructure, we can still feel the changes of our surroundings and seasons.We intended to build the restaurant as if it grows from the forest. The building basically resembles the shape of the tree, and actually the tree is a core idea of it.”

“所以我们在水平的建筑立面上拔起来了几个玻璃盒子，把层高拔到8米，从外面来看，它是建筑的标志性结构，从内部来讲，它又是婚礼主办的舞台，虽然我们用的材料是玻璃，但是它能呈现出圣洁的教堂般的感受。”

“So from the horizontal building facade, some glass boxes are built, elevating the storey height to 8 meter. Seen from the external facade, they are iconic structure of the building. And inside it’s the stage part for weddings. Besides, the glass structure savors the building with sacred feelings, like a church.”

“house在设计上延续了‘记忆’的思路，但是它做得更私密。通过落地的玻璃去做的立面可以看到非常茂密的树林，另外三面基本上全是封闭的。但是光线可以从上面照射进来，它可以围绕这个建筑不停的变化，整个建筑就像光的容器一样。”

“In designing the house, we remained the thread of “memory”, but it’s made more secretly.We established a facade using floor-to-ceiling glasses. From this facade, you are able to see the dense forest while other three walls are opaque. However, daylight can penetrate from the above, making the building some kind of a container for daylight as the light changes and  varies the way it shines on the building.”

“这个建筑里面大量的运用了一些类似树杈的顶部支撑结构。这个结构完全是从环境里面得来的灵感。墙壁的材料上用了简单的机理漆，在机理漆里面掺杂了一些麦穗，干草什么的，让它从触感上有一种回归的感觉。”

“In this building, we also use many branch-like supporting structure at the top. The structure is completely inspired by the circumstances in which trees abound. Things become interesting when you use the artificial to reproduce and refine the natural. As for the material, we use simple texture paint mixed with hay or wheat, so we can add some feelings of returning to the wild.”
