一直备受外界关注的本田、日产合并最终以谈判破裂告终。据日媒日前报道,本田与日产汽车2月13日正式宣布,终止经营合并的相关磋商。据悉,磋商终止主要是因为双方未能在合并方式等条件上达成一致,谋求对等合并的日产与在规模上更胜一筹的本田之间存在无法弥合的分歧。
去年12月,本田、日产、三菱汽车曾签署谅解备忘录显示,本田与日产开启合并谈判,三菱汽车就参与合并事宜进行探讨。但目前随着日产与本田放弃合并,三方此前就合并事宜签署的谅解备忘录也一并终止。
本田的市值总额是日产的5倍,2023财年综合销售额是日产的1.6倍。无论是企业规模还是盈利能力,本田都远超日产。而日产要求实现对等合并,双方在反映企业价值的新公司股权占比方面未能达成一致,最终导致谈判停止。
但市场人士分析认为,当前全球汽车产业电动化、智能化转型加速,传统汽车制造商面临重大挑战,本田和日产的销量都在全球第九位前后徘徊,单独发展都仍面临严峻形势,需通过跨界合作或新的重组来谋求生存。

据外媒报道,日本软银集团旗下的英国知名芯片设计公司安谋(Arm)正在开发自己的芯片,并已经将美国社交媒体巨头脸书的母公司Meta确定为其首批客户之一。
According to foreign media reports, ARM, a well-known British chip design company owned by Japan's SoftBank Group, was developing its own chip and that it had secured Meta, the parent company of U.S. social media giant Facebook, as one of its first customers.
报道称,Arm正在开发一款新产品,将与许多客户展开竞争。这家半导体公司目前将其称为指令集的技术以及更复杂的核心设计授权给客户,以便他们能够制造自己的芯片。
The report indicates that Arm is developing a new product that will compete with many of its customers. The semiconductor company currently licenses its technology, called an instruction set, as well as more complicated core designs, to its customers so they can build their own chips.
分析指出,随着市场竞争加剧及人工智能需求的爆发性增长,Arm正谋求更高的技术附加值和收入来源。
The analysis pointed out that with the intensification of market competition and the explosive growth of AI demand, Arm is seeking higher technology added value and revenue sources.
