面试官常常喜欢问，如果A公司也录取了你，你会来我司还是A公司呢。ETS也不例外，在托福独立口语中， “工作选择类” 的题目屡见不鲜。此外，这类题目的情境设定通常相当具体，甚至刁钻。尽管，TFT君之前在真题专栏探讨过了“job”话题，但是，“工作选择类”题目很值得单独拎出来剖析一番。让TFT君带你一起破解吧，看看这幸福的烦恼怎么办~

来自2019年12月【语料虐炼】Day19 Task： Freestyle真题演练：

Some people prefer to work in the company where they can work independently and make their own decisions. Others like to work in the company where there will be a supervisor telling them exactly what to do and how to complete the work. Which one do you prefer? Please explain why in details and examples.（2019年10月19日）

有些人喜欢工作时，可以独立工作并自己做决定。其他人喜欢公司里有主管告诉他们确切的工作内容和方式。你更倾向哪个？请详细解释原因。

这道题目秉持了“工作选择类”题目的经典特点，

限定很多

。这类题目，我们可以从四个角度开拓思路：

除了之前在“job”话题

（《 No.7 高频#job#话题怎么突破？》）

中说到的Task和Payment，还可以关注到Environment和Promotion。

具体来说，

Task中可以考虑Interesting job content, Heavy workload and Flexible policy。

Job content角度来说的选择一个工作自然会考虑工作内容是否有趣，工作强度会不会太大，工作可不可以灵活一些。

Payment一方则可以考虑Attractive salary, Financial stability and Benefits。

工资高低自然很重要，但工资稳定与否，保险等在内的福利又是怎样的呢。

Environment这个角度，则会可以考虑Relationship、Office and Location。

公司里同事之间相处的氛围如何，办公室环境是否舒适，公司位置是否毗邻地铁站呢。

最后，Promotion也要再三分析，包括Competition and Career development。

公司升职加薪是否竞争太过激烈，行业前景如何？

具体到这个题目，如果选择独立性比较强的工作，我们可以：

从flexible policy的角度说，独立工作自主性更强，不仅会觉得舒服一点，工作效率也会高；
从competition的角度说，这类工作更能提升能力，由此在晋升中竞争力更强。

如果选择第二种工作，那么我们可以：

从workload的角度说，在上级的亲自指导下，不需要花时间盲目探索，工作压力也就更轻；
从relationship的角度说，可以和主管有更多交流，更能维持良好的人际关系；
从competition的角度说，可以从经验丰富的前辈身上学习到有效的工作方法，竞争力上涨更快。

思路示范

Opinion: I prefer the first option.

Outline:

R1: Being able to work independently is a soft skill that many employers look for in potential new hires. It shows that you’re a good self-manager and most likely able to meet your deadlines

R2: You can work more efficiently. You can concentrate easier and work faster. If you are working on a familiar task, you can get it done quicker since there are no outside interactions and extra meetings.

这道真题如果认为“这是一个不错的选择”，我们可以从attractive salary的角度说，怎能抵抗高薪酬的诱惑？此外，可以对“controversial policy” 这个缺点做出回应。在私人生活中，我们仍旧可以随心所欲。

Opinion:

I think it’s a good idea.

Outline：

R1: Satisfaction of human wants is possible with the help of money. With high salary, I can improve my life quality.

R2: Even though the controversial policies can be annoying sometimes, they can only influence my work life. I can still live the way I want in private life.
