在国外旅游，要乘出租车，下面的这些基础词汇是必备的。一定要背下来哦~

1、Jam n./v.拥挤，阻塞
We should be able to make it unless we get caught in a traffic jam or something.
我们应该来得及，除非遇到塞车或发生什么事。

2、block n.大块：街区； v.阻碍
The road is blocked．
道路塞车了。
同义词：baffle

3、meter n.计量器，计程表
I'm not sure, but whatever it is,it'll show you on the meter．
说不准，但不管多少，计程表上会显示出来的。

4、kilometer n.几千米，公里
The rate is two dollars for the first two kilo-meters and twenty cents for each additional two hundred meters.
