Job Responsibility:
1. Ocean/air import operation and documentation handling
2. Arrange truck dispatch and follow-up
3. Coordinate with overseas agents and customers
Requirement:
1. Minimum 1-year experience in forward, warehouse or shipping company
2. English / Mandarin speaking (prefer)
Job Location:
Bridgeport, Chicago
Job description:
- Receive pre-alert, create file, and gather necessary documentation/information.

Make all arrangements for LCL and FCL cargo.

Trace cargo and send arrival notices to consignees and/or brokers.

Work with Customs broker to file ISF, ensure clearance, and coordinate final delivery.

Collect freight payment and OBL prior to authorizing release of cargo.

Maintain quotes, costs and profit information for each file.

Address and resolve discrepancies and problems in a timely manner.

Communicate
with clients, origin offices/agents, ocean carriers/steamship lines,
rail companies, brokers, drayage/trucking companies, warehouses, and
other vendors to facilitate smooth transportation of cargo.

Receive POD.
-
Invoicing/billing/closing files.
