2020年最后一个月，字节跳动做了一场摄影展。
所有参展作品来自字节跳动的全球员工，22个国家的同学在这里
交换了他们珍藏的记忆。
疫情爆发的影响是世界性的。当人们不能再随心所欲地出游和聚会，曾经那些再平常不过的事，在这样的日子里也多少成为了一种奢侈。“不确定”成为常态的这一年，更多的人开始反观内心，珍惜当下。
而摄影正是记录当下最便捷的手段之一。
在这次展览中，我们呈现了许多“爱好者”、“业余摄影师”的作品。朴实的技巧与真诚的记录，让这些近乎日记般的讲述更为可贵。

2020是特殊而漫长的一年。以突如其来的疫情为首，我们感受了太多“不可抗力”。
当生存环境被不确定性所充斥，我们不得不放缓脚步，重新思考和整理内心，调整认知世界的角度。
2020是一个突如其来的休止符。也是在这一年，我们更多地理解了“活在当下”的真正意义。
在这一年即将结束之际，字节跳动向全球近十万名员工征集了他们的影像作品，并从中遴选出108张图片、8段视频，在线上线下予以呈现。
回顾过往，你最珍贵的记忆是什么？——生活向我们提出了一个问题。来自22个国家，50名字节跳动的“业余摄影师”们，用他们的影像，给出了不同视角的答案。
设备的普及和互联网的便捷，降低了影像创作与发布的门槛，也最大幅度地激发了人们的创造力，更多地保留了人们对于生活的珍视、热爱与想象。这些有温度的作品，出自字节跳动的程序员、产品经理、运营、设计……他们的工作激发着无数人的创造力，丰富着上亿用户的生活。与此同时，他们也将这份敏感与观察力用于纪录和创作，发现平凡中的不平凡。
浏览这些出自世界不同角落的片段、纪录、见闻、絮语……我们也似乎能够目睹彼此亲历的点滴日常，体会到创作者们对于「记录自己身处的这个世界」抱有的某种热情与责任感。

2020 has been an extraordinary year. With our lives filled with uncertainty, we have had to slow down, rethink, adjust our minds, and change our perspective to understand the world. 2020 represents a sudden pause. It was in this year that we came to understand more about the real meaning of living in the present.
Towards the end of the year, we collected photography works from nearly 100,000 employees around the world and selected 108 photos and 8 videos to showcase both online and offline. Life poses a question to us -
looking back, what is your most precious memory?
50 ByteDance "amateur photographers" from 22 countries gave all kinds of answers through their works.
The democratization of photography equipment and the convenience of the Internet has lowered the entry barriers to photography, stimulated people's creativity, and harnessed their cherishing, love and imagination for life. These varied photographic works come from ByteDance programmers, product managers, operations personnel, designers and beyond. Inspiring the creativity and enriching the lives of hundreds of millions of users in their day-to-day work, they also use sensitivity and observation to record and create through photography, discovering the extraordinary in the ordinary.
Browsing these fragments, records, experiences and whispers from all corners of the world, we are able to witness each other's daily moments and realize the creator's enthusiasm and sense of responsibility for recording the world that we call home.

“这些是从封城的第一天起，我在伦敦海布里拍摄的35毫米胶片作品。我给自己定了一个任务，每天拍摄一张照片，不间断地记录下我在街区和家里看到的变化。从乐购卖场的长队到那些寂静的时刻，还有每天团聚在社区的欢乐瞬间。用胶片记录我经历的变化，在ZOOM上进行问答测试，观看挂篮运送食物。生活节奏被打乱，我记录下了这一切。”
