我们中国人学英语的误区之一就是认为好的英语必然复杂，应该用高级的词，繁复的语法和长长的复合句。这是最大的错误，我们不应该追求复杂，而应该力求「准确」。这篇演讲很好的诠释了这一点，因为从难度和词汇量上讲，初中生理解起来也毫不费力，全文很少有从句出现，没有任何高级词汇，但呈现出来的恰恰是最高级的英文。
