在2019年的托福独立写作中，科技类题目通常以教育结合的形式出现。比如，现在的小孩玩的时候是不是过于依赖科技啦？这类题目我们应该怎么去打开思路呢，让TFT君带你一起开脑洞吧~

家长应该限制孩子们玩电子设备的时长，比如电子游戏和电视。你是否同意呢？

通常，托福独立写作中的科技类题目，都是问科技带来的影响，很少问及科技本身。这道题目也是如此。其本质上是问科技对成长会带来什么影响。由此，这道题目的思考角度，我们还是要从“教育“中寻找。

“教育“这个角度，我们可以思考的层面通常有三层：德智体。我们以基本的层面”智“为例。教育的一大目的是传授知识和技能，那我们会首先考虑孩子的兴趣， interest ；其次，我们会考虑孩子的能力，包括 knowledge and skills. 有了这些角度，我们怎么来用呢？比如这个题目，我们可以从Interest的角度想想，科技能给孩子带来什么影响。一些educational games会让孩子对学习产生兴趣，甚至玩一玩”全面战争“也可以increase kids’ interest in history. 再比如，从knowledge的角度，在玩电脑游戏或者看电视中，孩子们是可以学到很多的，比如看看动物世界。再比如，从skill的角度，很多游戏是需要team cooperation的。

其余的几个层面，如 “德“包括personality, habits and values. 我们可以从habits的角度说，依赖电脑电视娱乐，容易让孩子分心。再比如， ”体“包括mental and physical health , 长时间玩电子设备自然意味着视力受损。

最后教育也意味着追求dream career and social life. 客观上来讲，教育也会涉及expense, teaching methods…… 这都是我们可以去寻找思路的角度。

Opinion: Personally, I believe that parents should better understand the complexities of this issue and reduce children’s technology use.

Outline:

R1: Firstly, electronic device is the main culprit of increasing physical disorders of the developing child.

R2: Secondly, electronic device overuse limits challenges to children’s creativity and imaginations.

R3: Admittedly, sometimes educational games may help to boost children’s academic performance. However, most educational games are really much closer to worthless, especially the free ones.
