I paid for a homeless guy to have my extra hotel night and gave him $100 for dinner.
I was leaving early and was going to be charged for the night anyway. I had run into this guy all week outside my hotel in
SFO
. He was a military
veteran
and a seemingly intelligent guy. I
cleared it with
the hotel manager and made the invitation.
I got my final bill via e-mail when I got back home and replied to the manager to ask how it went. He said that the young man had dinner in the dining room, slept until 9AM, showered, changed clothes and checked out early looking much different than when he checked in the day before. When housekeeping got there, the room was
immaculate
.
