Skills & Abilities Required:

• You love writing

• You are engaged in Bachelor or Master’s degree curriculum with a strong emphasis on creative writing in the English language ( e.g. Journalism, Media studies, History, etc.).

• You have demonstrated experience writing/editing/publishing content specific for the web, in particular blog posts (other examples include ebooks, whitepapers, infographics, guides, templates, etc) and growing a social audience

• You have an editorial mindset that seeks to understand what audiences consume and how to create it in line with persona and user / buyer journey concepts

• You are recognized for your flexible writing style to address multiple audiences while maintaining the PayPal brand voice

• You show a great ability to develop new topics, research, and find a unique spin on existing topics

• You understand the principles of writing for search engine optimization and the steps of typical content work flows

• Your spelling and grammar is impeccable

• You know how to present ideas in a simple, straightforward manner so it appeals to your readers

• You are a passionate learner since you write about a variety of topics and types of businesses

• You are digital savvy and have a particular interest in marketing related topics

To be considered you must:

• be available for 6-9 consecutive months starting July / August 2017.

• have at least one relevant prior work experience.

• have student status.

• depending on cases, a work permit/VISA may be required.

• be fluent in English
