In the "Buttered Cat" series, I chose to place two graphics facing each other up and down. During the painting process, I had to flip the canvas back and forth, creating one image would be a destruction of the other. And it always has an image that is reversed in the picture, with signatures in both directions, making it impossible to distinguish between the so-called positive and negative sides no matter what. I prefer to keep the direction in which the work was temporarily placed when it was taken out of the package, allowing chance or others to determine the so-called completion status of the work, and when the work is repackaged, it will enter an uncertain state again. I want to present this uncertainty, unfinished feeling, and the process of improvisation, rather than the outcome. Let the work always be in a lively state of 'in progress', in order to expand the possibilities of painting and new ways of viewing.

The "Residual Structure" series is another method of painting, which is figurative painting. However, I first extract the colors of the image in an abstract form, and then draw the figurative content on it. This is different from the typical figurative painting that places color on the structure of the form, which creates a paradox by simultaneously incorporating color and structure like conventional figurative painting. The overlap and misalignment of colors and structures make images difficult to recognize, and the information conveyed or hidden through the symbolic nature of the original image becomes fluid and multifaceted through this method, which is both deconstructive and constructive.
