E

very year, nearly 48 million people in the United States—1 in 6—get sick from eating food contaminated with germs. While Salmonella, Campylobacter and Norovirus cause the most illnesses, Listeria monocytogenes is a less-common but often deadly foodborne bacteria.


每年,近4800万美国人——六人中就有一人——因进食被细菌污染的食物而患病。虽然沙门菌、弯曲菌和诺如病毒导致了绝大部分的疾病,而李斯特菌是一种不常见但常致命的细菌。


Listeria can be particularly dangerous for pregnant women, older adults and persons with immune-compromising conditions. Almost all cases occur among these three groups.

Follow all basic home food safety measures to clean, separate, cook, and chill foods and reduce your risk of serious foodborne illness.

Keep your fridge at 40℉ or below.

让冰箱保持在40华氏度(4.4摄氏度)或以下。

A constant home refrigerator temp. of 40 °F or below is one of the most effective ways to reduce the risk of foodborne illness. Bacteria that can cause illness grow rapidly between 40 °F and 140 °F. Use a refrigerator thermometer to measure temp. to help you stay food safe.


40华氏度(4.4摄氏度)以下的恒温家用冰箱是降低食源性疾病风险的最有效措施之一。 致病菌在40至140华氏度(4.4-60摄氏度)之间可快速繁殖。使用冰箱温度计测量温度可以帮你保持食物安全。

Refrigerator thermometers are tools that stay in your refrigerator to display actual temperatures (separate from refrigerator dials).

Store and thaw food safely 

安全储存、解冻食物



Separate leftovers into small, shallow containers for faster cooling.


为了快速冷却,把剩饭菜分装到浅小的容器内。



Refrigerate or freeze perishables, prepared foods and leftovers within 2 hours of purchase or use (1 hour when temps. are over 90 °F).


易腐烂食物、熟食和剩饭菜应在购买或处理后两小时内进行冷藏或冷冻[当室温超过90华氏度(32.2摄氏度)应在一小时内进行]。



Consume or freeze refrigerated leftovers within 3 to 4 days. Toss after 4 days.


冷藏食物应在3-4天内食用完或冷冻起来,4天后应丢弃。



Thaw and marinate foods in the fridge, not at room temperature.


解冻、腌制食物应在冰箱内进行,不宜在室温下进行。



Keep Your Refrigerator Clean

保持冰箱干净



Wipe spills immediately.


如有溢出,应立即擦拭。



Regularly clean inside with hot water and liquid soap and dry with paper towels to minimize cross-contamination.


定期使用热水、液体皂清洗冰箱内部,并用纸巾擦拭干净,以减少交叉污染。

Pregnant women are 10 times more likely to contract listeriosis than other healthy adults.


孕妇感染李斯特菌的几率要比其他健康成人高10倍。
