International Conference on Information Technology (ICIT) is a premier international forum for high quality research in the areas of Information Technology. ICIT 2017 is being jointly organized by the Orissa Information Technology Society (www.oits.org) and Silicon Institute of Technology, Bhubaneswar, India (www.silicon.ac.in). Researchers, developers, and practitioners from academia and industry are invited to present their research findings on various topics of IT and its applications.

The 2017 IEEE Automatic Speech Recognition and Understanding Workshop (ASRU 2017) will be held in Okinawa, Japan, on December 16-20, 2017, at the Okinawa Convention Center.

The ASRU workshop meets every two years and has a tradition of bringing together researchers from academia and industry in an intimate and collegial setting to discuss problems of common interest in automatic speech recognition and understanding.

Topics of interest include automatic speech recognition, spoken language understanding, and related topics in speech and spoken language processing.

The workshop will feature invited talks/keynotes, panel discussions and regular papers, which will be presented as posters. A full social program will provide ample opportunities for discussion, including a welcome reception, banquet, lunches, etc.
