EUROCALL conferences are hosted under the auspices of the EUROCALL : the European Association for Computer Assisted Language Learning. They bring together educators, researchers, PhD students, administrators, designers of software and language learning systems, policy makers and other professionals involved in Computer-Assisted Language Learning (CALL) around the globe.

The EuroCALL 2018 conference aims to explore the opportunities and challenges of language teaching and learning in technology-rich environments today and tomorrow. The theme of the conference "Future-proof CALL: Language Learning as Exploration and Encounters" opens up the floor for discussion ranging from theories to research topics in the field. What language teaching will look like in the future when the ever-increasing normalisation of technologies transform the ways and environments in which languages are used in fundamental ways? What are the theoretical boundaries and practical habits we should cross and break to create sustainable futures for language teaching?

We invite submissions that explore and discuss one or more of the following sub themes from the perspective of the teaching organisation, teaching staff, students, researchers, environments and contexts. All sub themes are naturally located in the domains of language use, language learning and learning technologies.
