Responsibilities

Design, develop, test and improve software implementation of emerging IoT networking protocols for highly resource and energy constrained devices

Driving stability, performance, and robustness across a diverse set of network environments and topologies

Integration and debugging IoT networking protocols on Nest and Google smart home products
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
-
BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, related field or equivalent practical experience

Proficient in algorithms, data structures, and C/C++ programming
Preferred qualifications:
-
Experience with software development on highly resource and power constrained micro-controller environments, and substantial knowledge of RTOS and Unix/Linux environments.

Experience with application protocols (especially for consumer products that interact with cloud-based services and mobile apps).

Experience with internet protocols and standards such as IPv6, ICMPv6, DHCPv6, TCP/UDP, CoAP, MQTT
-
Experience with wireless protocols and standards such as IEEE 802.15.4, 6LowPAN, Thread, Zigbee, BlueTooth Smart/LowEnergy.

Ability to speak and write in both Chinese English fluently and idiomatically.
