上周在逛超市的时候，在蔬菜区看到一句广告语：

✍🏻 add the final touch to your dish

这是啥意思呢？

很多同学不知道，touch 作名词，还有「修饰，点缀，润色」的意思。

短语add the final touch to sth 指「给...作最后的润色，给...添加最后的点睛之笔」。

这里add the final touch to your dish 就是指：给你的菜肴增添最后一丝点缀，指的就是添加调味品。

这句话经常被用在调味品的广告里。 图片右边的parsley（欧芹），Basil（罗勒），都是西餐里常见的调味品。

我们也可以把add换成put，把final 换成finishing，把介词to换成on。

我们来看几个《经济学人》里的例子：

约翰逊教授，昨晚在我的论文结尾时，计算机死机了，把我的文档整个删除了。你能再多给我一天时间重新打一遍吗？
