Lion was fast asleep.
狮子睡得很香。
Something tickled his nose.
突然,有什么东西碰到了它的鼻子,它感觉很痒。
Aaaaaa-choooooooooooo!!!
Lion woke up.
阿嚏!!!
狮子醒了。
A mouse!
"How dare you wake me!" Lion roared.
原来是一只老鼠!
“你怎么敢把我弄醒!”狮子吼道。
He raised his paw…
"Please don’t kill me," begged the mouse.
狮子抬起爪子,要杀掉老鼠…
“请不要杀我。”老鼠恳求道。
"Maybe I can save your life too, one day."
“也许有一天,我也可以救你一命。”
Lion laughed.
"
You’re too small to save anyone!
"
狮子笑了。
“
你太小了,救不了任何人!
”
The next day, Lion walked into a trap.
"
He-e-e-lp ! ! !
"
第二天,狮子走进了一个陷阱。
它大喊着:“
救命啊!!
”
The mouse heard him.
"Don’t worry. I can help you."
老鼠听见它的声音,跑了过来。
“
别担心,我可以帮助你。
”
She nibbled through the ropes...and Lion was free.
它一点一点地咬开绳索......狮子就得救了。
"I’m sorry, little mouse," said Lion.
“对不起,小老鼠。”狮子说。
"I was wrong. Even little friends can be good friends."
“我错了,即使再小的朋友也可以成为好朋友。”
