什么样的人可以成为government leader？这个话题在2019年的托福独立口语中多次出现，不少同学不知道该从何处谈起。今天TFT君带大家一起来探索一下怎么作答这类话题。

你认为拥有以下哪种背景适合做政府领导人？1.军事 2.商业 3.法律

通常，我们会从government这个词出发，从政府责任的角度，探讨怎么成为一名government leader。比如，从quality life的角度，拥有business背景会更清楚怎么create more jobs。

但我们也可以尝试换个角度—— 把这道题目视为工作类题目，想要胜任某项工作需要什么专业能力。具体而言，想要胜任government leader这份职业，需要什么职业素养。 Professionalism通常包括expertise专业知识和ethics职业道德。此外，也可以考虑competence, 比如leadership or communication skill等；以及experience 经验。

从expertise角度 ： 可以强调其中某种专业知识是更为重要的 。比如，Material life is most essential. 由此，business相关知识最为重要。或者呢，也可以说National security is the greatest guarantee of people's happiness. 由此，Military-related knowledge is the most important.

从ethics的角度 ： 可以说businessman更懂得integrity, 诚信意识更高 。也可以说，lawyers are more cautious，律师更为严谨。

从competence的角度 ，比如，lawyer一般擅长public speaking, 演说能力强。

从experience的角度 ，比如，商业人士拥有predict future market trends的经验。

Outline:

R1: As a businessman, he is more thoughtful when making decisions.

作为商人，他在决策时会更加周到。

R2: Besides, material life is most essential. Equipped with the knowledge and experience on business, the government leader could have a comprehensive understanding of society, economy and market.

此外物质生活至关重要。政府领导人具备商业知识和经验，能对社会，经济和市场有全面的了解。
