纺织行业作为劳动最密集的行业之一，同时也是全球第二大污染源。约有五分之一的人口直接或间接受雇于该行业。在过去20年，随着快时尚的风靡、外包和全球化的发展，服装的消耗涨幅超过了400%。
The textile industry is the second largest polluter in the world, and also one of the largest employers. One in every five individualis estimated to be directly or indirectly employed by the industry and the consumption of clothing has risen by over 400% in the last two decades with the advent of fast fashion, outsourcing and globalization.
在10月27日，德必WE”将举办“绿色纺织-从全球化到生态转型”活动，并邀请到两位专家Nitin Dani先生和Knut Wimberger先生，一同探讨纺织业的发展与挑战、社会和环境造成的影响、消费者存在的问题、生态环保标签和资质，以及如何让每一个人都参与到这一全球化问题，从而有效倡导生态化转型。
On October 27, DoBe WE" is organizing "Textiles – From Globalization to an Ecological Turnaround?" event and invites two professionals, Mr. Nitin Dani and Mr. Knut Wimberger, to discuss how textiles are produced, the challenges in the industry, the social and environmental impact, consumer awareness on the problems, eco labels and certifications, and lastly, how such a global issue connects with each one of us and how can we drive a positive ecological turnaround.
注意Note:
此次活动将不仅仅是一场分享型的讲座，我们的目标是建立起我们与我们所穿着服饰之间的联系，因此与会者需要携带家中的三块布料。
Attendees are requested to bring 3 pieces of clothing from their homes as the talk is not just a lecture but really aims to establish a connection between us and what we wear.
