IEEE is the Technical Co-Sponsor (TCS) of the International Conference on Cyber Incident Response, Coordination, Containment & Control (Cyber Incident 2018) is an international refereed conference dedicated to the advancement of Cyber Incident Response, Coordination, Containment and Control.

The aim of the Cyber Incident 2018 is to encourage participation and promotion of collaborative scientific, industrial and academic inter-workings among individual researchers, practitioners, members of existing associations, academia, standardisation bodies, and including government departments and agencies. The purpose is to build bridges between academia and industry, and to encourage interplay of different cultures.

Cyber Incident 2018 invites researchers and industry practitioners to submit papers that encompass principles, analysis, design, methods and applications. All submitted papers are independently peer-reviewed.

The conference proceedings will be submitted for consideration for publishing and listing on the following bibliographic indexes: IEEE Computer Society Digital Library, IEEE Xplore Digital Library, DBLP Computer Science, Scopus, CiteSeerX, Computer Science Index, EI Compendex, Academic Search Complete, CiteULike, Google Scholar & Microsoft Academic Search.

This special issue of “Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics in Air Transportation” will synthesize new breakthroughs in air transportation planning, operations and management, through the advances in AI and DA.

This special issue will focus on innovative applications of AI and DA techniques for air transport system modelling, analysis, design, optimization, and system-level policy decision making. The focus also includes the analytics of non-traditional data generated by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), virtual air traffic towers, human physiology, smart sensors, synthetic vision, adaptive displays and natural language processing.

Potential topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

- Autonomous Systems for Air Traffic Control

- Air Traffic Data Mining and Predictive Analytics

- Virtual, Remote, Synthetic, and Multi-Site Air Traffic Control Towers

- Stochastic Game Theory in Air Transportation

- Intelligent Agents for Air Traffic Management

- Conflict Detection and Resolution

- Trajectory Prediction under Uncertainty

Engineering Structures

Virtual Special issue on Strengthening and Lifetime Assessment of Metallic Structures

A large number of metallic structures, such as road and railway bridges, offshore structures, pipelines, communication towers and mining equipment are aging because of fatigue and corrosion damage. The increasing service loads and harsh environmental conditions make these structures even more vulnerable. Although methods for the strengthening of concrete structures have already been well developed and have been used in many practical cases, this is not the case for metallic structures. There is clearly a need for studies that aim to develop feasible retrofitting methods, along with meticulous design approaches, for the strengthening of metallic members.

This special issue (SI) will serve as a platform to present new research results related to strengthening of metallic structures using advanced materials and new techniques. The papers in this SI will cover different aspects of strengthening and life-time assessment of metallic structures including the following topics:

- application of advanced materials such as carbon fiber-reinforced polymers (CFRP) and shape memory alloys (SMA) for strengthening of metallic members.

- bond behaviour and debonding problem in FRP-to-metal adhesively bonded joints.

- strengthening of thin-walled metallic structures against local buckling, fatigue and corrosion.

- experimental, numerical and analytical studies on fatigue life assessments of critical details (e.g., riveted, welded or cracked metallic details).

- long-term behaviour under severe environmental exposures and sustained loading.
