邱柴氏老人一日三餐规律，最爱的是粗茶淡饭拌猪油。一路走来历经磨练，但保持好心态面对风风雨雨。
邱柴氏不仅是长寿的典范，更是柴氏祠村“物华天宝、人杰地灵”的象征。邱柴氏老人所在的南部县花罐镇有8位上百岁的老人，整个南部县接近90位百岁高龄老人。
