TechLead
Everything is Fucked by Mark Manson
iPad as a productive tool
Playing with my new iPad for almost a week, and found it is super productive at work and for personal learning. I use Goodnotes to take notes during meetings, which also allows me easily drawing concepts as lo-fi design before formal design. Also use it to take note for the IDF design course I'm learning. I used to take notes with laptop, which was definitely not as good as writing (and drawing) notes down.
Also exploring the way of digital drawing with Procreate app. There are other drawing apps available, but found Procreate is the best.
For video editing, it is also quite handy: I shot some video footages of the Sydney trip with my iPhone. On the plane fly back to Auckland, I edited 3 vlogs with the iPad, using the app Videoleap.
Still exploring the best practices of using iPad as a productive tool. Any suggestion or thoughts?
David Carson
Exhausted after a 5-hour customer journey workshop, and then found that David Carson accepted my LinkedIn invitation. That made my day.
I heard his name from my boss as an inspiration of designers. David is one of the top graphic designers of the world, and is best known for his innovative magazine design, and use of experimental typography. Can't believe you can connect design heroes such as David with just a simple invitation. For the people with curiosity and ready to reach out and explore the world, it is the best time.
