Safe steps in food handling, cooking, and storage are essential in preventing foodborne illness. You can't see, smell, or taste harmful bacteria that may cause illness.

食物处理、烹调以及贮藏的安全步骤对预防食源性疾病是必要的。你无法看见、闻到或尝出致病的有害细菌。


In every step of food preparation, follow the four guidelines to keep food safe:


在准备食物的每个环节,要遵循以下四条准则以确保食物安全:


Clean 干净

Wash hands and surfaces often.

勤洗手并清洗物品表面


Separate 分离

Separate raw meat from other foods.

把生肉与其他食物分开


Cook 烹调

Cook to the right temperature.

Chill 冷藏

Refrigerate food promptly.

及时冷藏食物



Cook all food to these minimum internal temperatures as measured with a food thermometer before removing food from the heat source.
