中国“村超”和“村BA”为何爆火
China’s “Village Super League” and “Village BA” Become Thrivingly Popular
2022年8月，贵州省台江县台盘村，一年一度的“六月六”吃新节篮球赛一开打，就以其激烈的赛况、热情的观众和热烈的现场氛围，迅速火爆出圈。2023年5月，在距台盘村100余公里的榕江县，和美乡村足球超级联赛走红全网。这两场比赛，被网友们亲切地称为“村BA”和“村超”。
In August 2022, an annual basketball tournament was held in Taipan Village, Taijiang County, Guizhou Province. It fell on the sixth day of the sixth month of the lunar calendar, when the local people celebrate Chixin, or Harvest Festival. The tournament was a grand event famous for its heated competition, engaged spectators, and vibrant atmosphere. In May 2023, the beautiful countryside football tournament held in Rongjiang County, more than 100 km from Taipan Village, went viral online. These two tournaments got their catchy names from Chinese netizens: the “Village Basketball Association Competition”, dubbed “Village BA” or “Cun BA”, and the “Village Super League”, or “Cun Chao”.
“村超”、“村BA”既是一场球员和球迷的大联欢，也是一次多民族同胞的大聚会，更是一台民族文化的盛宴。
The Village Super League and Village BA are not only grand parties for players and fans but also great gatherings of Chinese people of different ethnic groups, serving as a feast of ethnic culture.
草根赛事的火热出圈，是近年来贵州广大农村富起来、美起来、群众精神文化生活不断充实起来的生动呈现。
The popularity of grassroots competitions like the Village Super League and Village BA is a vivid reflection of Guizhou’s continuous efforts to achieve prosperity, improve the environment, and enrich the cultural life of local people in rural areas in recent years.
