但在英语里，它却可能有很多 负面 的含义。

为什么Interesting很危险？

举个例子：

A: How was your trip?

B: It was interesting.

A: Was there something wrong?

B: ...

What's wrong with it?

虽然interesting是“有意思”，但它在英语中的含义更加 丰富、玄妙 。

当你说It's interesting的时候，要注意以下几点：

• Leaves things hanging. 悬而不决

• It begs follow up questions. 还有下文、有更多问题

• Something is off.  一言难尽、有猫腻

如何正确使用Interesting？

＃1. Interesting形容人

Interesting形容人并不是简单的褒义或者贬义，

而多指 与众不同、经历丰富 的人。

• He is a very interesting person.

• He is an interesting character.

如果是褒义词，interesting往往指一个人有 丰富的人生经历、经验 。

Positive: Interesting life experiences.

如果是贬义词，interesting往往指一个人比较 奇怪 。

Negative: something is off with the person.

• He has very interesting tastes. 他的品味、喜好很奇怪。

常见错误：

Interesting不代表好玩、幽默❌

如果想形容一个人很幽默，最好直接用：

• fun person: 很会玩，在一起会很好玩的人

• funny person: 很幽默的人

Interesting形容事，这件事往往是:

Makes you think 让你思考 ， 不是简单的有意思、有娱乐性

• Interesting: 有意思的，有意义的，含义比fun要丰富

• Fun: 好玩

怎么用？

1) How was the party?

• It was interesting. 聚会上你见了很多有意思的人，聊过有意思的话题，让你有所得。

• It was fun. 吃好、喝好、玩好的聚会。
