Automotive Subject Matter Expert
profile type: mechanical engineers, assembly engineers, r&d engineers, people who work(ed) in automotive factories and are familiar with the technical background of cars and car accessories (including the entire electric, motor and heating system) and are also familiar with the language of chinese automotive engineering.
work scope: need to be able to review automotive-related texts after tep (translation+editing+proofreading) (in simplified chinese) and make sure that the technical parts are coherent, accurate and understandable by the target (automotive/technical) audience, so basically, the sme candidate need to assess the translated texts from an expert point of view.
education background: it is preferred to have a degree from an automotive engineering and/or electrical engineering faculty
expected hourly rate – 20usd per hour (negotiable if candidate's profile beyond expectation)
project volume: regular projects, volume considerable
cat or other technical tools requirement – sdl passolo 2011 (must).
