Why I Support Trump
By Sub(y,17,y)
Hello, everyone!
I am Sub(17, y, 17) from Water Mars.
In the ebb and flow of history, moments of crisis often necessitate measures that transcend conventional norms. As someone who values the ideals of liberty and democracy, I have come to a sobering realization: the mechanisms of freedom and democracy that have long served as the foundation of American society are faltering under the weight of ideological rigidity and moral posturing. The progressive ideology, which once promised to champion equality and human rights, has metastasized into what I call the "cancer of political correctness." And like any life-threatening illness, extraordinary remedies are required to confront and cure it. This is why I support Donald Trump.
The American left, or the "white liberal left," has embraced an infantilized form of governance. Their obsession with virtue signaling and identity politics has eroded the pragmatic decision-making processes that democracy demands. In its current form, liberalism appears incapable of self-correction. It is like a patient whose immune system no longer functions, leaving the body defenseless against destructive ideologies. To save the patient—to save America—we must look beyond the traditional tools of freedom and democracy. We must embrace forces external to the liberal democratic framework, forces that can challenge its deeply embedded dysfunctions. Trump represents precisely such a force.
Far from being a conventional politician, Trump embodies the disruptive energy of a businessman and the audacious spirit of an entrepreneur. These qualities place him squarely within the cycle of elite renewal described by Vilfredo Pareto in The Rise and Fall of the Elites. According to Pareto, societies thrive when they allow for the periodic infusion of new elites who possess the vigor, pragmatism, and vision necessary to reinvigorate a decaying order. Trump, alongside Elon Musk, exemplifies this modern iteration of elite leadership—one rooted in the pragmatism of commerce and the courage to challenge the status quo.
Trump’s critics often accuse him of being divisive, authoritarian, or even unfit for office. Yet these accusations miss the larger point: Trump’s presidency represents an antidote to the complacency and dysfunction of the current liberal establishment. He does not operate within the confines of polite political discourse because those confines have failed to address the pressing challenges of our time. Instead, he acts decisively, often provocatively, to disrupt a broken system. His policies—from tax reforms to deregulation—reflect a commitment to pragmatism over ideology, a trait sorely lacking in today’s political landscape.
Moreover, Trump’s partnership with figures like Elon Musk signals the emergence of a new kind of governance—one that blends the entrepreneurial spirit with statecraft. Musk, with his relentless drive for innovation and exploration, complements Trump’s focus on practical outcomes. Together, they represent a "new elite" capable of navigating the complexities of the modern world. They reject the paralysis of political correctness and embrace a future defined by ambition, resilience, and results.
This is not to say that Trump is without flaws. Like any transformative figure, his methods are often messy, his rhetoric polarizing. But history teaches us that great leaders are seldom perfect. Winston Churchill, Franklin D. Roosevelt, and even Abraham Lincoln faced fierce criticism in their time, yet their willingness to defy convention and confront crises head-on ultimately secured their place in history. Trump’s unorthodox approach is no different. In a time of existential crisis, his boldness is not a liability but a necessity.
The choice to support Trump is not a rejection of liberty and democracy; it is an acknowledgment that these ideals must be protected from their own excesses. Just as a patient may endure invasive surgery to save their life, so too must America undergo a period of disruption to safeguard its future. Trump represents the scalpel, cutting away the cancer of political correctness and paving the way for a healthier, more resilient democracy.
In the end, the survival of liberty and democracy depends on our ability to adapt, to confront uncomfortable truths, and to embrace the forces of renewal. Trump and Musk—with their pragmatism, courage, and vision—represent a new chapter in the American story, one defined not by the paralysis of the past but by the promise of a bold, dynamic future.
