2016年英国脱欧和特朗普当选震惊了政界精英，同时给全球经济带来了极大的不确定性。贸易保护主义和现行体制结构的瓦解将成为2017年欧洲几国大选需要面对的主要问题。

2016 was a very challenging year for the global economy, as the Brexit vote and Donald Trump’s victory shocked political elites. Protectionism and the dismantling of institutional structures are major campaign issues in several national elections in 2017.

中国作为全球化主要受益国，将如何应对这一变化？中国日趋提升的国际地位能否掀起一轮“具有中国特色的全球化趋势”？

China has been a major beneficiary of globalization. How should it respond to this paradigm shift? Will China’s growing global role usher in a new phase of “globalization with Chinese characteristics”?
