Job Title: Financial Analysis Assistant
Report to: Associate Planning & Analysis Manager
Subordinates: None
Main Objective:
Assist manager in supporting retail department to achieve company’s target by analyzing and communicating the business result.
Detail Responsibilities:
1. Sales Analysis
- Prepare various analysis reports to review store sales performance
- Explore the opportunities and risks in sales performance and propose improvement plan
- Assist manager in discussion with related functions to set proper sales target
- Assist manager in preparing sales reforecast and providing pre-alert to management for potential sales gap to company annual target
2. Store P&L Control
- Prepare P&L report by store and compare with target
- Review the store monthly P&L in detail to investigate improvements needed
- Monitor store commission cost and make necessary proposal to optimize it where necessary
- Initial cost saving projects and communicate with operation team for implementation
- Assist manager in annual budget preparation
3. Other Analysis
- Assist manager in monitoring stock level in store and coordinate with Operation and Merchandizing team with stock turnover improvement
- Monitor the effect of promotion accelerators and feedback to Marketing department
- Assist retail team in understand company’s financial goals and build up short-term and long-term action plan
- Other ad-hoc project assigned by management team
Skill and Qualification Required:
1. Knowledge and Skills:
University degree in financial or business management
Understanding of retail processes
Logic thinking and excellent analysis skills
Expert in Excel and Power Point
Knowledge of ERP system (SAP, Oracle, Windows Dynamics AX preferred)
Excellent communication skills required
Team player with ability of influencing related business partners;
Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines;

0-1 years’ experience in retail industry
3. Aptitudes:
Willing to invest in a growing business
Passion to perform and willing to take initiative and responsibilities
Strong character to solve problems
