“一带一路”国际合作高峰论坛昨天在北京圆满闭幕了。来自不同国家的留学生和与会嘉宾们对于“一带一路”倡议了解多少呢？对于“一带一路”倡议面临的最主要的问题，他们又是如何解读的？

来看看留学生们是怎么回答的吧。
就是“一带一路”，对吧？
It’s the 一带一路,right?
就是重启区域贸易。
It’s to re-introduce trade to the region.
是对丝绸之路的扩展吧？
Is it that it's an expansion of China's Silk Road?
它与很多国家有关，连接了中亚地区的国家。
It has connections with a few countries, which are connected to middle Asia.
看来留学生们对“一带一路”了解还真不少呢。
它对很多国家来说都是有益的，就连我们国家也参与其中。
It’s very advantageous for many countries, even my country is participating in OBOR (One Belt, One Road).
我相信“一带一路”会加强所有国家之间的贸易和经济往来。
I believe it is supposed to strengthen the economy between all of the counties and strengthen the trade between all of them.
（它有）潜力把世界上超过80%的人口联系在一起。
(It has) the potential of connecting more than 80 percent of the world's population.
如果它成功了，不仅我们国家会从中受益，你们国家也会受益。不仅是我们，和它有关的所有发展中国家都会从中受益。
If this succeeds, not only our country (will find it) beneficial, your country also (will find it) beneficial. (And it's) not only us, it’s related to the developing countries, all the developing countries.
说得太好了，“一带一路”倡议源自中国，但成果惠及世界。
它就像一个全球性项目。
It’s like a global project.
我们国家不像中国这么发达。所以我希望中国可以在其中做出贡献，帮助我们促进经济的发展，也帮助其他国家。
We are not that developed as China is developed. So we really hope and look forward that China will distribute all this and they will help in boosting the economy, and also the social sectors of other countries.
我非常希望“一带一路”可以促进合作，帮助带动我们国家经济的发展。
I just really hope that the Silk Belt is going to help (us) to cooperate, for cooperation of our country's economy.
“一带一路”是面向所有人的，不只是中国，它关乎所有人的利益。
One Belt One Road means that it’s something for everyone, not just for China. It’s for everybody’s gain.
你认为“一带一路”倡议面临的最主要问题是什么？
What problems do the Belt & Road Initiative face?
这个问题有点难度，留学生们会如何作答呢？
比如说，投资和对外直接投资。
It’s like… investments, like FDI (foreign direct investment).
大多数参与国家是发展中国家，所以他们没有太多钱去发展他们的基础设施。
Most of the countries are developing countries, so they have no(t) much money to develop their infrastructure.
还有不少人提到了安全问题。
首要任务是保证安全，参与各方的安全。
First to maintain security, security among the partners.
还有，有些国家有自己的问题。如果是走陆路，可能就会有一些安全问题。
Another (thing,) some country have some problems. So if you go by road, some security problems will be suffered.
这位小伙伴可是说到点上啦，“一带一路”涉及多方合作，不同的文化之间要互相尊重才能更好地开展交流呀。
如果一个国家没能尊重另一个国家的文化，这也会是个大问题。
If one country fails to respect the culture of another country, then there may be a big problem.
具体到操作层面，海关合作也很重要。
国家之间的海关合作很重要，因为“一带一路”会穿过很过国家的边境。这需要大量的合作。
Just how they regulate things with customs, because it’s crossing so many borders. It’s just gonna require a lot of cooperation.
还要让各个国家的人民都理解“一带一路”，看来小伙伴都理解得挺深刻呢。
人们如何理解“一带一路”。如果人们不接受它，它就难以发挥作用。
How the people want to perceive it. Because if the people don’t accept it, then of course it's going to be very hard for it to work.
各个国家还得继续努力，因为它还需要更进一步的完善。
The countries still should work hard, it’s still on its way.
你认为如何在全球化趋势下加强各国间的交流？
What should we do to promote the exchanges within globalization?
交流合作应该是留学生们最拿手的。对于这个问题，他们又有什么想法呢？
如果你是友好的，你就可以推动任何事情。
If you be friendly, you can promote anything.
你们带来了一个独特的观点，我也带了一个。所以我们可以把这些观点综合起来，一起推动前进。
You bring a unique perspective, and so do I as well. So we can both combine those under one umbrella and move forward.
尊重国际贸易设立的规则。
To respect the rules that have been settled for international trade.
就像我们正在做的，到别的国家留学。这可以帮助我们推动全球化进程，因为它让人们去接触不同的文化，也证明了其实大家没有那么多不同，我们本质上是相似的。
What we are doing right now, coming to other country and studying - this itself helps us with globalization because it exposes people to different cultures and shows that we are not actually not that different, we are similar in fact.
总结得太棒啦，人和人都是相似的，所以“一带一路”倡议才可以让不同的文化相互理解、相互交流。

Some countries maybe they have different culture, different opinion. You really need to explain it well. You need to advertise. You need to really explain the details, like today. The president has done a good job in explaining it to the world.

Every time you do a good thing. You should plan for problems. Anything that can disrupt it, there must be so many, but I think what is important is the determination to make it work.

The whole Belt and Road Initiative is about how do we re-interconnect everybody. And by doing this, we’ll bring the benefits of globalization to everyone. It’s not for a limited few, it’s for everyone. And with road transport, we can interconnect every economy throughout the world, so that everybody can benefit from globalization, everyone can have a smile on his face.
