Job Description

Your role will be to provide a complete service for aircraft owners and operators as a one stop shop including itinerary and route planning, trip kits, overflight and landing clearances, ground handling, hotel accommodation and flight following.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Run, file and amend flight plans as per customer requests
Maintains internal records and files of flight information for customer flights
Obtain overflight and landing permissions through CAA or subcontractors
Provide flight planning services, including coordinating flight plan deliveries, route planning and weather services
Arrange and coordinate ground handling, catering and hotel reservations
Ability to apply meteorological knowledge to aircraft operations
Be familiar with company communications and computer systems
Be familiar with, and involved in, both the in-house and external training strategy of the company and their commitment to continual staff development
Provide a level of customer service that exceeds the competition and sets us apart in this demanding and fast paced market

岗位要求

Minimum requirements:

Previous flight planning experience
Ability to work and function in a 24 hour shift working environment, typically working a 4 on 4 off days and nights shift pattern
Able to analyse customer needs and provide direction and solutions using a variety of resource
Be Flexible and punctual
Have the ability to work under pressure
Strong listening and communication skills
Fluent oral and written English
Ability to grasp and solve urgent issues
Ability to learn new tasks quickly and accurately
Good team player

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

Ability to communicate at all levels effectively, both orally and in writing with our internal and external customers
Knowledge of Airline Operations
Working knowledge of Jeppesen software including Jetplan and Jeppview is desirable
Good understanding of navigation procedures
Ability to plan and organize a daily schedule and work assignments with minimum supervision
Able to professionally represent Jeppesen within the aviation community
Have an a understanding of the CFMU System and the Eurocontrol Centre
Have a passion for Aviation and “going the extra mile” for customers

Education/Experience:

Experience in an operations environment.
Ability to demonstrate a good working knowledge of International Aviation regulations
Previous flight planning experience and theory based knowledge
Experience of Jeppesen products including Jetplanner and Jetplan.com is desirable.
A basic understanding of ETOP’s flight planning
Secondary language desirable
General interest in Aviation
Mandarin Chinese language proficiency will be a great asset.
