“接地气”怎么说？

• Down to earth：接地气

60% of the time, “down to earth” does match with the Chinese “接地气”, and you can use it in very similar ways. 百分之六十的情况下“down to earth”和中文字面意思上比较对应。

• Earth：大地、地面
  

Down to earth

可以在这些情况下使用

#1. 形容人和个性很接地气

Person & Personality

形容人不装、不高高在上、和群众打成一片:

• Not snobbish

• Not lofty, stuck up

怎么用？

He's a very down to earth person. 他是一个很接地气的人。

也可以形容一个人的性格很实在：

• Down to earth personality

怎么用？

Adam has got a down to earth personality. Adam的性格很接地气。

#2. 形容地方很接地气

Places & Atmosphere

形容一家餐厅很大众化、价格很朴实：

• a very down to earth restaurant：一家很接地气的餐厅

怎么用？

This is a very down to earth restaurant. 这是一家很接地气的餐厅。

Fine dining restaurants are usually not down to earth. 高级餐厅一般不怎么接地气。

• Fine dining restaurant：高级餐厅

也可以形容气氛很轻松：

• Down to earth atmosphere：气氛很轻松（very relaxed）

If you go to a museum or art gallery, it's probably not very down to earth. 如果你去博物馆或美术馆，它的气氛可能不是很接地气。

#3. 形容态度很接地气

Attitude

• Down to earth attitude：态度很接地气

We will probably get along very well with someone who has a down to earth attitude. 和这样接地气态度的人相处很舒服。

也可以形容幽默的风格很接地气：

• Down to earth sense of humor

Adam has a down to earth sense of humor. Adam幽默的风格很接地气。

#4. 形容做事的方法很接地气

Approach

• Down to earth approach：做事的方法很接地气

 Companies need a very down to earth approach to team building. 公司团建的方法也要很接地气。

不能用Down to earth的情况

*注意：形容语言不能用，比如：English

• Authentic

怎么用？
